We offer an exclusive maintenance and repair service for BRAUN flutes and piccolos in our workshop. This service ensures that the quality, reliability, and unique tonal character of your instrument are preserved.Alternatively, you can contact one of our certified repair technicians.
They were personally trained in our workshop by Dipl.-Ing. Anton Braun for the servicing of BRAUN flutes and piccolos.

Reports and Valuations: Professional preparation of valuation and damage reports.

  • Damage Assessment Reports:
    Detailed condition analysis and sound damage evaluation.
  • Valuation Appraisals:
    Determination of the current market value (e.g., for insurance purposes).
  • All reports are presented as a comprehensive, written expert opinion.

Complimentary Service Warranty Within the first two years of purchase:

  • Fine adjustment of the mechanism
  • Customization of the headjoint to suit your personal playing style

Routine Maintenance: Regular inspection and fine adjustment.

  • Cleaning, alignment, and oiling of the mechanism (excluding polishing)
  • Replacement of defective wear parts (padding, felt and cork)
  • Refreshing the protective oil treatment of the wooden head and body
  • Returning the instrument in a reliable and optimal condition.

Full maintenance: Complete technical overhaul of the instrument.

  • Cleaning, polishing, oiling, and adjusting the mechanism
  • Replacement of defective wear parts (padding, felt and cork)
  • Complete repair and protective oil treatment of the wooden headjoint and body
  • Returning the instrument in mint, reliable, and optimal condition.

Prices

  • The prices are indicative and based on our experience.
  • Exact prices can only be quoted after the instrument has been inspected.
  • Prices do not include shipping and packaging. The costs of two-way shipping and transport insurance are borne by the client.

Appointments

  • Appointments are arranged in writing via email.
  • As we are carrying out these maintenance works alongside our new production, our capacity is limited.
  • We therefore recommend that you book an appointment with us early, particularly for servicing work in the summer.

Cost Estimate

  • On request, we will be happy to provide you with a cost estimate following an inspection of the instrument.
    Otherwise, we will send you a pro forma invoice directly.

Authorization of Work

  • The work is carried out upon receipt of payment, which serves as order authorization.
    For orchestras and institutions, we can alternatively begin work upon receipt of a written purchase order.

Prices and VAT:

  • Private Customers (EU): Gross prices apply (incl. 19% German VAT).
  • Private Clients (Non-EU) & Businesses (Worldwide) : Net prices apply, provided that the statutory requirements for a tax-free export invoice are met. Otherwise, plus 19% VAT.
